Lexington won the last time they faced Fieldcrest and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Minutemen put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 15-4 win. Considering the Minutemen have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lexington is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Fieldcrest, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will welcome Sacred Heart-Griffin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fieldcrest, they will be playing at home against Prairie Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
