Kingston can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 67-43 margin over Vassar. The score was close at the half, but Kingston pulled away in the second half with 46 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kingston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Corlis, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Corlis is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last five games he's played. Austin Deroseau was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Carsonville-Port Sanilac was beaten by the Cougars 74-28 on Wednesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carsonville-Port Sanilac in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.
Kingston has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Everything came up roses for Kingston against the Tigers when the teams last played back in February of 2020 as the squad secured a 69-34 win. With Kingston ahead 47-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.
