Central came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Legacy Lions. The Cobras' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.

Zion Boakai paced Central's offense, picking up six kills. Boakai got some help from Mikenzie Langen and her seven assists. Finally, Boakai was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Legacy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kherington Neikirk, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs Neikirk has posted over her last ten contests. Taylor Smith also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Legacy, they pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Central has already played their next match (against Port St. Lucie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Legacy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Treasure Coast on the 9th.
