Friday just wasn't the day for The Shelbyville Dragons''s offense. They were outmatched by Timpson at home and fell 61-0. It was the first time this season that Shelbyville let down their fans at home.
Despite the defeat, Shelbyville saw an underclassman step up: Hunter Harvey rushed for 121 yards. Harvey was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.
It was another big night for Jj Garner, who rushed for 269 yards and five touchdowns on only eight carries. Another player making a difference was Chris Nickleberry, who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Shelbyville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Timpson, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Shelbyville will head out on the road to face off against West Sabine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Timpson, they will be playing at home against Garrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Garrison is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
