The Indian Rocks Christian Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Atlantic Christian Sharks at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Indian Rocks Christian had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Seffner Christian on Friday. Indian Rocks Christian blew past Seffner Christian 17-5. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Quinn Taylor, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Noah Mortellite was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Indian Rocks Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Christian never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 25-0 margin over Inlet Grove.
Giovanni Garcia made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Reily Campusano was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Atlantic Christian is undefeated when Campusano posts two or more runs, but 0-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jack Cooper, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2.
Indian Rocks Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Atlantic Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Indian Rocks Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Atlantic Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
