Grayson County is 8-2 against the Raiders since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Grayson County Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Trinity Raiders at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grayson County has three straight victories, the Raiders have four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Saturday, Grayson County was able to grind out a solid win over the Tigers, taking the game 55-48.
Meanwhile, Trinity ended up a good deal behind the Cougars on Monday and lost 53-37. Trinity has struggled against the Cougars recently, as their contest on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Grayson County pushed their record up to 11-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.
Grayson County strolled past the Raiders when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 56-41. Will Grayson County repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
