The Pompton Lakes Cardinals fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Thursday as the odds are decidedly against them. They will take on the Garfield Boilermakers. Pompton Lakes will be seeking to avenge the 63-55 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played January 14th.
The Cardinals took a serious blow against Hawthorne on Tuesday, falling 63-31.
Meanwhile, Garfield had enough points to win and then some against Manchester Regional on Tuesday, taking their contest 64-49.
Garfield's win lifted them to 12-7 while Pompton Lakes' loss dropped them down to 3-14. We'll see if the Boilermakers can repeat their recent success or if Pompton Lakes bounces back and reverse their fortune.
