The Houlka Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Potts Camp Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Houlka comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, Houlka ended up a good deal behind Falkner and lost 49-33.
Olivia Halford put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for she.
Meanwhile, Potts Camp's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 78-52 loss at the hands of New Site. Potts Camp was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-19.
Houlka's defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Potts Camp, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Houlka took a serious blow against Potts Camp in their previous meeting back in January of 2021, falling 60-30. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Houlka was down 43-12.
