Pinnacle Classical Academy secured a 40-36 W over Nebo Crossing Academy on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pinnacle Classical Academy.
Pinnacle Classical Academy was led to victory by Evan Bridges and Cody Humphries. Bridges scored nine points along with ten rebounds and three steals, while Humphries scored nine points along with ten rebounds and seven blocks. Bridges is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ashilyn Lee, who scored five points along with five steals.
When it comes to explaining why Nebo Crossing Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Morgan Baker. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him.
Pinnacle Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Nebo Crossing Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
