Sandia faced Eldorado in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Matadors were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Golden Eagles. The Matadors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 contests by six runs or more this season.

Sandia's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 23-8. As for Eldorado, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-8.

As of now, neither Sandia nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
