Estero's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the South Fort Myers Wolfpack 26-10. Considering the Wildcats have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Makenzie Baxter was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (two). She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Lindsay Klatt was incredible, going 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Allee Johnson was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
