The Claiborne Academy Rebels just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Riverdale Academy Rebels  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Having struggled with four  defeats in a row, Claiborne Academy  turned things around against Central School  on Thursday. They strolled past the Pioneers with  points to spare, taking the game  21-2.

 Claiborne Academy got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Lindy Spurlock out in front who  posted ten  points. The dominant performance gave  Spurlock a new career-high in points.
 Meanwhile, Riverdale Academy had already won 18 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 19 on Tuesday. They really took it to the Lions for the full four quarters, racking up  a  72-22 win. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22  contests by 21  points or more this season.
 Riverdale Academy has also been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 21 of their last 23 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Claiborne Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.
