Cordova is 2-8 against Curry since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cordova Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Curry Yellowjackets at 5:45 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-30, which was the final score in Cordova's tilt against Locust Fork on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cordova has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Curry came up short against Haleyville on Tuesday and fell 45-32.
Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Curry, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-6.
Cordova skirted past Curry 28-26 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cordova since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
