After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boerne, the Bandera BULLDOGS were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took down Wimberley 62-47. For Bandera, this counts as revenge for the 62-56 defeat Wimberley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Bandera got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elijah Salas out in front who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Isaac Segura, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Wimberley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gavin Olmer. Despite the final result, he scored six points along with 12 rebounds and two steals. Olmer has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaegen Davis, who scored ten points.
