The biggest upset of the week belonged to Randolph, who took down 889th ranked Randolph, 39-27.
Blanco moved up to 352 from 571 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A-2 Region IV District 14. The Panthers were able to make the jump by besting Schulenburg 22-21.
Lexington's dynamic duo of Kogan Garrett and Zach Lay proved tough for Johnson City to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Garrett threw for 359 yards and six touchdowns and Lay had 142 yards receiving.
Colton Childress was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 114 yards on 11 carries as Blanco topped the Eagles. Teammate Tim Goodman added to the ground attack by rushing for 46 yards.
On the ground, the Shorthorns' Jyron McKenzie has rushed for 616 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jeffrey Lara. The Schulenburg star has 25 catches for 631 yards.
A big matchup in 2A-2 Region IV District 14 this week will be when Rogers takes on Schulenburg. The Eagles are in first place, while Tommy Bludau's team is in third place.
Lexington took down Johnson City 59-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Garrett ran for 35 yards in the win.
