Cabell Midland came tearing into  Saturday's  match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Huntington Highlanders. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  2-0  victory  last Thursday.
 Madelyn Cooke paced Cabell Midland's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cooke got some help from  Jillian Yost and her 23 assists.  Payton Bowyer controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Cabell Midland's win bumped their record up to 39-5-1. As for Huntington,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-18-2.
 Huntington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  victory against George Washington on the 25th. Hopefully Cabell Midland paid attention to the Highlanders'  contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Highlanders  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
