The Franklin Patriots pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Crestwood 67-61. Franklin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crestwood apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.
When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Robbie Wynn. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points. The game was Wynn's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Owen Pittenger, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists.
Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Crestwood, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Franklin will head out on the road to face off against Gabriel Richard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestwood, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fordson at 7:00 p.m.
