That makes it two consecutive games in which Givens has scored at least 25% of West Rowan's points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Holmes, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Lake Norman put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against North Lincoln by a score of 69-59. Given Lake Norman's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while North Lincoln is ranked 224th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Their wins bumped West Rowan to 2-0 and Lake Norman Charter to 2-2.
