Windham is 2-8 against Badger since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Windham Bombers will be playing at home against the Badger Braves at 5:15 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Windham earned a 53-40 victory over St. John. The victory was just what Windham needed coming off of a 59-26 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Badger strolled past Maplewood with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 61-43. The win was just what Badger needed coming off of a 72-47 defeat in their prior match.
Badger's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabriella Miller, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Miller continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Huscroft, who scored 12 points along with six steals.
Windham now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Badger, their win was their 17th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
