Even though Edgewood scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, Geneva still came out on top. Geneva snuck past Edgewood with a 65-59 win.
Meanwhile, Harvey scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 100-55 win over Conneaut at home. That looming 100-55 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Harvey yet this season.
Harvey found their leader in underclassman Armani Hall, who scored 22 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Deontae Ware, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Geneva's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Harvey, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Geneva beat Harvey 57-48 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Geneva since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
