They breezed by Alief Taylor at home to the tune of 34-7. Considering Shadow Creek has won four matches by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Among those leading the charge was Cobey Sellers, who threw for 139 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.
Shadow Creek's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Alief Taylor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Shadow Creek will head out on the road to face off against Strake Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Strake Jesuit will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 426th, while Shadow Creek is ranked 64th). As for Alief Taylor, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Alief Elsik at 7:00 p.m.
