The Belpre Christian Academy Patriots were the 76-70 winner over the Bloomingdale Blazers when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Belpre Christian Academy received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 57-41 to Bloomingdale.
Bloomingdale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marc Brown, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 steals. Another player making a difference was Sutton Roten, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds.
Belpre Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bloomingdale, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belpre Christian Academy will challenge Parkersburg Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloomingdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Ignite Athletics at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
