Basketball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Makes It Four in a Row at Home

After losing to Lakeway Christian Academy the last time they met, Tri-Cities Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tri-Cities Christian Eagles enjoyed a cozy 65-48 win over the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions on Monday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Lions are ranked 294th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Emery Haws was her usual excellent self, going 9 for 16 on her way to 21 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Greene, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Tri-Cities Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matchups.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
