Schyler Chambers was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
St. Joseph Catholic typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Madison-Ridgeland Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Bruins with points to spare, taking the game 51-35. Given Madison-Ridgeland Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Bruins are ranked 25th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jackson Academy pushed their record up to 27-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, their win bumped their record up to 27-3.
Everything went Jackson Academy's way against the Patriots in their previous matchup back in January as the Raiders made off with a 69-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
