Naaman Forest got a great performance from Caitlyn Way as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. What's more, Way gave up only two walks, the fewest she's had since back in February.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Adalis Jaramillo, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Karsyn Rios, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Garland). The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Marhiana Hughes was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-5. Isabella Malone also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.
Naaman Forest's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for North Garland, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-14.
Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Naaman Forest has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463.
