The Shadow Creek Sharks waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 78-21 victory over Alvin. Shadow Creek has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.
Michael Collins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 3 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Shadow Creek's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Tate, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Shadow Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. As for Alvin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
Shadow Creek will head out on the road to take on Dawson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dawson is on a six-game streak of home wins, Shadow Creek a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Alvin will take on Alief Elsik at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Alief Elsik focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
