Eastbrook has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Norwell Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Eastbrook beat Mississinewa 41-28.
Olivia Howell and Sophia Morrison were among the main playmakers for Eastbrook as the former scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals and the latter scored 20 points along with 4 steals. The game was Morrison's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, Norwell waltzed into Friday's match with four straight wins but they left with five. They came out on top against Huntington North by a score of 56-45. Given Norwell's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Huntington North is ranked 130th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Eastbrook's win bumped their season record to 6-0 while Mississinewa's loss dropped theirs to 4-4.
Eastbrook came up short against Norwell in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, falling 51-43. Can Eastbrook avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
