Galesburg Christian suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 61-37 walloping at the hands of Morning Star Academy. Galesburg Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.
Meanwhile, Pathway Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Quad Cities Christian 61-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pathway Christian has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Pathway Christian had strong showings from Denver Nelson, who scored five points along with four steals, and Ryker Miller, who scored ten points.
Galesburg Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for Pathway Christian, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 6-12.
