The Crisp Academy Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 65-41 margin over Furlow Charter School. The win was some much needed relief for Crisp Academy as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Crisp Academy found their leader in underclassman Reese Reed, who scored 25 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Tucker Ellenberg, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Crisp Academy's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Furlow Charter School, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their 19th straight on the road.
Crisp Academy the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Grace Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Furlow Charter School will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against CHESS Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th.
