Buffalo Island Central never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons with a sharp 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Buffalo Island Central's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6. As for Crowley's Ridge Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo Island Central will host Corning at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crowley's Ridge Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m.
