The Lima Senior Spartans will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Xenia Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. Lima Senior will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Lima Senior had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year. They walked away with a 26-14 win over Start on Friday.
Lima Senior found their leader in underclassman Janiaus Hall, who threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 101 yards. Hall hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Kaden Hampton, who picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Xenia had to suffer through a rough 41-14 loss at the hands of Tippecanoe. While losing is never fun, Xenia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 317th, while Tippecanoe is ranked 157th).
Lima Senior's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Xenia, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
