After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stagg, McNair was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Franklin Yellowjackets as they made off with an 8-2 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Emerald Gerardo was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Celina Valadez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

McNair's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Franklin, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McNair is set to square off against their familiar foe Weston Ranch at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Franklin will challenge rival Stagg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
