The East Marion Eagles can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 61-26 victory over Salem at home. The win was familiar territory for East Marion who now have eight in a row.
Lozavious Armstrong had a dynamite game for East Marion, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Armstrong has scored all season. Donny Anderson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
East Marion pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Salem, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
East Marion will head out on the road to take on the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Sacred Heart focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
