Camden County Vo-Tech took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gloucester County Christian, who comes in off a win.
Gloucester County Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Pennsville Memorial by a score of 9-5. The Conquerors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Lucas Brewster made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Brewster was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Klepacki, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Brewster, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
Gloucester County Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Camden County Vo-Tech's offense. They came up short against Hammonton on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gloucester County Christian's record is now 2-5. As for Camden County Vo-Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
