The Shekinah Christian Flames are taking a road trip to  take on Genoa Christian Academy  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Shekinah Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Shekinah Christian couldn't beat Tree of Life Christian  on Monday even though they stacked nine runs on them in the third inning. The Flames came up short against  the Trojans, falling  24-18.
  Mia Pierce and  Abigail De Telder stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Pierce  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI, while  De Telder  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with five  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.  Emma McDowell was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Genoa Christian Academy came out on top against Shekinah Christian  last Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run third inning. Genoa Christian Academy put the hurt on Shekinah Christian with a sharp  17-5 win.
 Shekinah Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Genoa Christian Academy,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
