The Homestead Broncos put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against South Dade by a score of 60-52. For Homestead, this counts as revenge for the 68-48 loss South Dade walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Anthony Reed continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 10 rebounds. Jerimiah Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
Homestead's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for South Dade, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homestead will challenge Somerset Academy South Homestead at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Dade, they will head out on the road to face off against Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Miami is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
