Even though they lost, Cactus was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Desert Edge only rushed for 112.
Desert Edge found their leader in sophomore Blake Roskopf, who threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Malakai Moala, who picked up 89 receiving yards and a touchdown.
