Richmond entered their tilt with Algonac on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Muskrats a 5-0 shutout. Richmond might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by four goals or more this season.

Richmond pushed their record up to 13-4-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those nine contests. As for Algonac, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-1 record this season.
