Conroe was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to the Willis Wildkats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildkats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in September.
 Conroe was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10,  25-17.
 Talia Padilla paced Conroe's offense, picking up seven kills. Padilla were helped by Brayla Bradley and  Bailey Helton, who contributed six assists each. Finally,  Padilla was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.
 Willis found their leader in sophomore  OLIVIA KEO, who  had 19  assists and four  digs.
Conroe's loss dropped their record down to 17-23. As for Willis, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-18 record  this season.
