Clear Lake waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Don Bosco Dons with a sharp 13-3 win. Considering the Lions have won three games by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Clear Lake's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Don Bosco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Clear Lake will take on Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Clear Lake is facing Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS at the right time seeing as Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Don Bosco, they will face off against Riceville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Dons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
