Whitehouse entered their tilt with Nacogdoches on Tuesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Nacogdoches Dragons a 9-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly nine runs.

Whitehouse's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Nacogdoches, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
