Forreston has gone a perfect 8-0 against Orangeville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cardinals will head out to face off against the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Forreston has three straight victories, Orangeville has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Forreston is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since April 4th on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lena-Winslow, sneaking past 13-11.

Orangeville couldn't beat Durand/Pecatonica on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Broncos lost 14-8 to the Rivermen.
Nathan Briggs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Elwyn Thomm also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Orangeville's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Forreston, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
Orangeville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Forreston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. It's a different story for Orangeville, though, as they've only averaged .199. Will they be able to contain Forreston's hitters?
Everything went Forreston's way against Orangeville when the teams last played back in April of 2023, as Forreston made off with a 25-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
