Copley had won two straight games and Jayli Owens did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 win over the Revere Minutemen thanks in part to Owens, who had 18 digs and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Copley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Revere had strong showings from Marissa Haugh, who had ten digs and two aces, and Grace Tarant, who had seven digs and one assist.

Copley's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Revere, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6.

Copley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Whitmer at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Revere, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lexington on the 13th.
