Dade Christian extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 8 this week by beating Barrington Christian Academy, 47-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Dade Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on the falcon.
5-foot-11 quarterback Gregory La Stella of South Florida HEAT is the league leader in passing yards this season with 514. He has also thrown six touchdowns. On the ground, Mike Sonneborn's team's Gary Sampson has rushed for 478 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Terrence Alls. The Dade Christian star has eight catches for 134 yards.
