After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hoopa Valley, Trinity was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Maxwell Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won three matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Jessica Brown made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Brown was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Trinity got a massive performance out of Adriana Seele, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI Seele has posted since back in May of 2025. Koral Plew was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Trinity always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Maxwell only posted an OBP of .400.
Trinity's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Maxwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8-1.
Trinity has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Chester on the 27th. As for Maxwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Fall River on the 28th.
