Trotter Hughes was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last four times he's played. Haden Terrill was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Hardin-Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Wellington-Napoleon, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-10.
