The Cameron Dragons will venture away from home to square off against the South Harrison Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cameron is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
Cameron's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Notre Dame with a sharp 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Fighting Irish: they've now won three in a row.

Kason Angel made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Zayde Long was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Anthony Bellanco was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Cameron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Notre Dame didn't got any hits.
Meanwhile, South Harrison waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Vikings.
Jacob Watts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Seth Gain and Corey Saltis did most of the damage at the plate: Gain went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Saltis went 4-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
South Harrison pushed their record up to 21-13 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cameron, their record now sits at 19-11.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Cameron has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like South Harrison struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
