Pascack Hills had won three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 3-6 to make it four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ramsey Rams, sneaking past 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cowboys have posted since April 30, 2025.

Joe Napolitano was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Pascack Hills is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-5 otherwise. Napolitano was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kyle Wenckus was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-4. He has become a key player for Pascack Hills: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-5 otherwise. Jake Szabo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Pascack Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
As for Ramsey, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. Rams fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Pascack Hills since Tuesday.
On Ramsey's side, Roberto Cotes was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Cotes has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex DeSimone, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Looking ahead, Pascack Hills will take on Tenafly at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.2 runs per game on average), something the Cowboys will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ramsey, they will challenge Hackensack at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
