Montgomery County is 2-8 against Hermann since August of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Montgomery County Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Hermann Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Montgomery County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Friday.
Montgomery County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak. They were beaten by South Callaway 44-15.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jacer Brower, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Hermann had to suffer through a rough 49-14 loss at the hands of Union. Hermann has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 6-3.
Montgomery County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hermann in their previous meeting back in August, but they still walked away with a 27-21 win. Will Montgomery County repeat their success, or does Hermann have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
