The Chamblee Bulldogs won the last time they faced the McNair Mustangs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Chamblee took down McNair 59-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chamblee.
Chamblee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alana Azeta led the charge by scoring 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mackenzie Lewis was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 steals.
Chamblee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for McNair, they have yet to win a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 1-5 record.
Chamblee will take on Towers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Towers comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for McNair, they will head out on the road to face off against Cristo Rey Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
